This platform is really great. I'd been trying to make it as a freelancer fora few months before I came here, but the competition on other websites just doesn't seem to work in your favour. You know the drill: the job gets posted and is immediately hit by dozens of low bids from some rookies. This place, on the other hand, is where I can always count on some work coming my way.

I was teaching trigonometry for 22 years in a local private school but had to retire 4 months back (got in a pretty bad car accident). It's not that I hate just being a full-time coach potato but you know, you need something to keep you busy. This has been working out pretty good for me. Also, living off your insurance money is okay but having a steady stream of income to supplement it is, well, better.

I wasn't sure this could work, but after a few months I think I can finally start doing freelance full-time. They got me when I had a pretty annoying client last month who wanted me to redo 20 pages based on pretty much nothing. So apparently the support team talked some sense into him and I got away with just reworking the formatting (for the record, I did get it wrong the first time around).
